Cranberry Bread Pudding

Cranberry Bread Pudding

What you need:

8 slices of bread (white or wheat)
1/2 c. dried cranberries
2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:

1.  Preheat oven to 350.

2.  Cut bread into cubes.

3.  In a greased, deep oven dish, spread bread mixture evenly.

4.  In a medium saucepan, combine milk and butter, cook over medium heat until butter is melted.

5.  Pour milk mixture evenly over bread and let stand for 10 minutes.

6.  In a bowl, combine sugar, egg, vanilla and nutmeg.

7.  Pour egg mixture evenly over bread.  Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until center is molded.  Enjoy!
