Hey y'all Rambling Holly here, but I was born just Holly.  I am the middle child to a mother that worked hard all her life to support her children.  Watching my mother struggle and work hard to put a roof over my head has given me the drive to be able to live on a budget.  I started becoming interested in getting products for free when I saw the show, Extreme Couponing.  After watching the show, I would go on to Facebook and try to follow all the blogs and pages I could.  In doing so, I realized that a bunch of freebies could be scored without coupons and ever since that moment, a few years ago, I have been hooked.

My mother also raised me to be a person not afraid to speak my mind and stand up for what I believe is right.  I love being able to share my opinion with others.  If I can keep someone from wasting their hard earned money on a product, then I will.  I pride myself on being honest.

For those of you who do not know, I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with my life when I finished high school.  I was accepted into Johnson & Wales (a private culinary university) but I also good at listening to other peoples problems.  I ended up going to school for child psychology and I am proud to say that I now have my masters degree in child and family psychology.  Now, until I can get my foot in the door with psychology, my love for cooking has not died....and I personally think all recipes should be shared.  You wouldn't want to keep a good book or movie to yourself, so why keep a good recipe away from others that will enjoy it?

I decided to create Rambling Thoughts as a way to make some extra money (hopefully) and to share my thoughts about everything with people of all ages and gender.  Because I have a slew of ideas and topics (recipes, current event discussions, reviews, snagging freebies, etc), Rambling Thoughts and Rambling Holly are the perfect names.  I didn't want to decide on one specific topic because there is not one specific topic that sums up my life on a day to day basis.  Plus, why not offer a one stop site for are bound to find at least one post that you are going to like.

Blogs I Read:

Budget Savvy Diva
